RULES
1. All entries must be the original work of the submitters.
2. Entries must be in the genres of Horror, Sci-Fi or Fantasy. They can be any format: live action, animation, mixed media or music video.
3. Entries can be of any length. 1-30 minutes/mini-short, 31-60 short, over 60 minutes is a feature.
4. All submissions must include entry form and completed film. Submissions must be postmarked no later than June 1, 2012 for early deadline fee, July 1, 2012 for regular deadline fee or August 1, 2012 for late deadline fee. Only digital DVD Region 0 or 1 NTSC submissions will be accepted.
5. All films are subject to being excerpted for promotional purposes. All films may be exhibited for press.
6. Selected films will be contacted on or about September 15, 2012. Finalists in each category will need to submit a completed film without any disclaimers embedded in the audience viewing copy. You can not have "screener copy only" or any wording across the face of the film. If we do not receive a clean version we will not screen the film.
7. All short and mini-short submissions may have the opportunity to be included in a ShockerFest compilation DVD. Filmmakers will be notified if their films are selected. At that time they may choose to participate or opt out of the compilation.
8.All selected films will be aired on a local TV station with a possible viewing audience of 1.5 million.
